begins consideration of a bill (S 1200) to reauthorize the American Indian health care program.

The President

meets with members of Congress at the White House to discuss the details of an economic stimulus package; announces the President’s Advisory Council on Financial Literacy.

In Washington,

anti-abortion groups hold their annual March for Life to protest the Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion nationwide, with the annual Rose Dinner afterward at 7 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on Capitol Hill, 500 New Jersey Ave., N.W.
